Meet Tina Earle, CEO of Nurses are Heroes “NAH” Uniforms-With a stunning background in nursing , business, and education. In 2018 I embarked on my journey as a Registered nurse and has spent the last six years with demonstrated hands on bedside nursing, clinical management, and homecare.
NAH was inspired by the stories of nurses worldwide. Nurses Are Heroes as a brand came about because of my personal experiences in the field of nursing. I have personal stories about double shifts-having to make quick changes in the car to be ready for the day shift having just completed the night shift on a separate job.
In 2018, the idea of starting my own scrub line came to mind, and i created the name “Nurses are Heroes” but did not formally register until 2021 post Covid.
2020 was a year of reckoning for all but especially for healthcare professionals.
Being heroic was the only way we knew. I always worked in Medsurg/ but Hospice& palliative Care is my passion. Although i was used to death and dying , it never prepared me for the psychological & emotional trauma that the Covid pandemic brought. Everyday I observed my peers showing up to a battlefield with resilience and bravery.
When the pandemic hit when everyone panicked, it was the nurses that answered the call! We went into those hospital wards, we answered the call of duty in such heroic ways that everyone really understood that nurses are true heroes. Almost all nurses can relate. This was just that ha, ha, moment where you say this is nothing short of heroic.
While building NAH brand may look effortless, from behind the scenes I spent the past six years gathering and cementing my ideas on how starting the scrubs business really works.
When I think of NAH, I see each and everyone of our health care professionals. We are leading the charge and we are reporting for duty. So why not do it in style and comfort? This is where NAH comes in and this is why our tags a purposefully stitched on the outside, to remind everyone who the true heroes are! I take extreme pride in the NAH Brand of uniforms.
